Multimedia artist Michael Ridge attempts to play the 7″ vinyl single “Every Rose Has Its Thorn” by Poison using several thorns from a dried rose and a contact microphone. The results are almost poetic in their simplicity. Ridge also experimented with a record made from PVA glue among other turntable manipulations, which are archived on his website.
