Been missing the ’90s much? Never fear. MTV is back, and it’s just as good as you remember it.
Get ready folks, MTV Classic is coming. On August 1 the channel that defined ’90s Americana will launch a brand new channel to house all its iconic output from that era.
According to a company statement, MTV Classic will offer “an eclectic mix of fan-favorite MTV series and music programming drawn from across its rich history, with a special focus on the 1990s and early 2000s.” This includes classic MTV Unplugged performances by the likes of Nirvana, Erykah Badu and Bob Dylan. It also includes a number of popular animated shows, like Beavis & Butt-head and Aeon Flux. So dust off those old Butthole Surfers and Beck t-shirts, this is serious.
Prepare for it now by watching every episode of MTV’s 120 Minutes here.
