Finally, A Faster Way To Press Vinyl
With the demand in vinyl on such a steep rise that it’s even been deemed bad for smaller labels, it’s about time that someone took matters in their own hands.
Vinyl factories currently rely on ancient machines, and production technology hasn’t changed much since the 1950s. Canadian company Viryl claims to have found a solution, with a new machine will be available for $160,000. A couple months ago, German startup Neubuilt announced plans to retail similar machines with a similar price point. Let’s see who wins the race for cheaper and faster vinyl production.
