Can’t afford those gold Technics? Discounted decks will only cost you £49.99 at the local supermarket.

German discount supermarket Lidl has stocked the ION record player, which has a USB connection for convenient record ripping and a three-year warranty. Our guess is that you won’t find these decks in a club, but we appreciate any step towards widely available, budget turntables. Now we’re just waiting for Lidl to stock drum machines and synths.
