Get High On Music With These Headphones, Literally
Florida tech company Nervana has invented headphones that get you high. Actually high. They work like your usual run-of-the-mill headphones, but they come with an integrated device that delivers a low-power electrical signal directly to your brain. This reportedly stimulates the Vagus nerve, which is responsible for the release of dopamine. Sound freaky? It is. But it’s probably a little healthier than popping pills or railing lines all night in the club. For some more neuro hackage, check out the guy who built a synth out of his stem cells here.
