Raw and stripped down, this previously unreleased mix of the Station to Station favorite is another reminder of the greatness of Bowie.
A previously unavailable version of David Bowie’s “TVC 15” is being offered as a teaser for the release of Who Can I Be Now? (1974-1976), a new box set that looks at the rock star’s output from 1974 to 1976. The second single off Station to Station, it appears here in the 2010 mix by Harry Maslin, the original producer. It’s an updated version that attempted to recreate the dry sound on Bowie’s output in 1975.
Give it a listen above (Germany requires a VPN), and look out for Who Can I Be Now (1974-1976)?
