Moog’s new “Global Synthesizer Project” explores what it means to connect sounds on a worldwide scale. Its a new interactive musical instrument, developed with the help of sound artist Yuri Suzuki, that lets users share and synthesize environmental sounds from around the world. Aspiring sonic adventurers can be a part of the project and join this global movement by sending their field recordings to globalmodular@moogmusic.com. The full installation will be on view at this year’s Moogfest.
