Building a synth has never been so easy.
As we all know, LEGO isn’t just for kids anymore. The wonderful little blocks have been used recently to craft reproductions of famous synthesizers, have synced with fruit and Ableton, and came together into the record store of our dreams. They’re versatile as heck—and, as the above video by Rare Beasts proves, make pretty fun music-crafting tools. As the device crafter explains:
“This is a Lego reproduction of a synth that I designed. Blocks are placed at the end of each arm, as the block passes the colour sensor the sound that corresponds with that colour is played.”
