Last month, legendary DJ and producer Theo Parrish appeared onstage for The Secret Society Of Twisted Storytellers, a roving project based out of Detroit that’s built around—surprise—storytelling. “My profession forces me to travel to faraway places,” Parrish begins, before recounting a particularly memorable booking in Dubai last year. The talk was held at the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History and hosted by Satori Shakoor; watch it in full here.
