A while back, we posted a Guardian op-ed from two Australian health professionals. They hoped to bust some of the preconceived notions related to ecstasy and ecstasy-related deaths. The facts regarding ecstasy and MDMA use are complex but—based on recent research conducted by the Global Drugs Survey—it appears that MDMA intake and pill purity have increased exponentially. Researchers urge a measured (and non-fear mongering) awareness campaign to respond to these changing circumstances.
To start, The Global Drug Survey has advocated for a #StartWithHalf campaign that intends to encourage users to find their own personal limits when it comes to drug use.
