We love weird musical devices, and this one quite a cute one. DevKid Studio have created an electronic musical sequencer which is programmed arranging stones in the wooden input grid. Designed as a tech-art project, we think the potentials for producing a device like the JAMKY on a larger scale could be exciting. Not only does it function as a unique instrument, but it could also be used as a learning device for parents looking for a fun way to teach their kids musical patterns. Plus, think of how many “rock music” puns uncles can make! “This music is for real stoners.”
