Two of deep house’s biggest players team up for releases on Innervisions.
Innervisions has been on fire recently, but it seems like there’s plenty more ammunition in the Berlin institution’s arsenal. Besides running its infamous monthly Panorama Bar parties, the Dixon and Âme-run label has been patiently churning out high-quality anthemic deep and tech house, like the Moorthon EP from Âme’s Frank Wiedemann.
In an announcement on Resident Advisor’s Instagram, Dixon has revealed that not only will Âme be dropping their first studio album since 2004’s self-titled effort, but a collaboration between Henrik Schwarz and Frank Wiedemann is also in the works as well. Although Schwarz and Wiedemann have collaborated for incendiary live performances in the past—as can be witnessed above—they have yet to mint any tracks together, so this is big news.
Innervisions overload! Watch Dixon’s EB Slices feature here and Âme’s here.
