As we approach January, that also means its time to get ready for all the fun gadgets and gizmos that will inevitably be unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show (or CES, as it’s known) in Las Vegas. This conference is largely responsible for setting the tone for the year’s biggest tech developments. Beyerdynamic will use the opportunity to present its eye-wateringly expensive Xelento remote in-ear eadphones that cost a whopping €999. Beyerdynamics is clearly staking the success of the headphones on appealing to an over-powering instinct for quality. But given the release of a wide variety of affordable high-quality earbuds, we’re not so sure that these babies are worth the dough.
