You might not have heard of Detroit’s Museum for Contemporary Art, but their Youtube channel is a full-blown goldmine of performances, lectures and workshops from artists and thinkers from all corners of the creative spectrum. Watch performances by noise purifiers Pharmakon and Wolf Eyes, the forgotten folk legend Rodriguez or the effervescent wedding jammer Omar Souyleman. Then move on to lectures and interviews with bewitching string theorist Ellen Fullman, no wave icon Lydia Lunch and drone merchant Phill Niblock. Highly recommended for anyone with an interest in the outer reaches of sound, culture and art. Check it out here.
