Discogs' New Gear Marketplace Is Open For Business
Gearogs is the ultimate one-stop shop for everything music gear related.
Gear nerds, rejoice! Discogs’ music gear database, Gearogs, has been turned into a massive online secondhand marketplace. Though currently in its beta version, the site is trying to become the largest trading center for audio equipment on the planet.
Hoping to harness the online hivemind that made Discogs the premier online resource for music lovers, Gearogs wants your help to “list every turntable, audio recorder, amplifier, effects pedal, microphone, and every other piece of audio gear conceived.” The site already boasts over 1,600 different synthesizers from 1,000 producers, well over 1,300 different turntables and even 200 different varieties of tape machine.
With the new online marketplace function, you can finally outfit your studio with all the rare pieces of gear you’ve always wanted. The only problem is that you’ll have to pay for it! Learn more about Gearogs here.
