In 1977, NASA sent a set of gold-plated copper records into space onboard the Voyager 1 and 2. The records famously collected sounds from life on Earth for any extraterrestrials who happened to have turntables (or could follow Carl Sagan’s assembly diagram, pictured below) and now, a batch of those recordings has been uploaded to SoundCloud for the first time.
