It’s no secret that Robert Hood is a big hip-hop head.
In fact, it was hip-hop that introduced Hood to fellow Underground Resistance members Mike Banks and Jeff Mills—he sent them a tape of his own hip-house productions. As a member of UR he was also the group’s touring MC.
To add some hype to this year’s Weather Festival in Paris, he dug deep into his hip-hop collection to mix two hours of boom-bap classics from the likes of Wu-Tang Clan, Nas, Mobb Deep, Gang Starr, Jeru The Damaja and more.
