Listen To New Ambient Music By Brian Eno
The ambient master is back with a new masterpiece for Warp.
Brian Eno is set to release a new record of generatively composed ambient music on New Year’s Day via Warp Records. The record, titled Reflection, is the fourth full-length for the IDM and avant-garde electronic label. It follows last year’s The Ship. Excerpts from the new record were premiered by Mary Anne Hobbs on BBC Radio 6, which you can now listen to it over on the BBC Radio 6 website (around the 78-minute mark). A statement by Eno that accompanies the new record says that it attempts to open a psychological space “that encourages internal conversation.” It applies generative musical structures to create chance encounters throughout the 54-minute piece.
