Strange Things Happen When Moby Talks To Anarcho-Punks
The Quietus organized one of the stranger and most entertaining interviews we’ve read in a long time.
Moby, the world’s favorite New York raver-turned-ambient restaurateur, met up with Steve Ignorant, the frontman for legendary London anarcho-punk legends Crass to discuss politics, apathy and the revolutionary potential of music in the 21st century. There are plenty of great moments in the interview, especially when Ignorant’s blood starts boiling. “Look at England, or look at the USA,” he starts. “You’ve got soup kitchens and food banks. You could pick up a Charles Dickens book written in the 1850s, and it’s still like that.” Check out the whole thing here.
