Richie Hawtin is going back to where it all began. After dominating the DJ circuit for many years, he grew suspiciously quiet at the start of 2015. Rumor has it that he locked himself in the studio to focus on producing, while toying with some new Roland Aira gear like the TR-8 and TB-3. In the meantime, a batch of anonymous white labels, released through Hard Wax in recent weeks, had begun to instigate speculation. We met up with Hawtin a couple of months ago to discuss his new project, and now, we’re happy to reveal From My Mind To Yours, a collection of new and old tracks slated for release on Hawtin’s own Plus 8 Recordings. Hawtin revived some of his most revered aliases for the album, including F.U.S.E., ROBOTMAN, PLASTIKMAN and more. Unsurprisingly, its title is a play on the now-classic early Plus 8 compilations, From Our Mind To Yours, from 1991 and 1992.
