Richie Hawtin To Debut Mysterious New Audiovisual Show In Detroit

The Canadian techno legend will return to Detroit to debut a new multi-sensory experience.

Richie Hawtin is slated to premiere a new audiovisual work at this year’s Movement festival in Detroit. The performance has been billed as “CLOSE”, and presumably will continue in a similar vein to the immersive live shows that Hawtin has performed at such venues as the Guggenheim in recent years. While no specific details have yet emerged, we will have them for you as soon as they happen. Hopefully it’s as cool as the giant LED obelisk he sometimes plays in.
