Stream Jeff Mills And Anthony Srock's 1989 Industrial Techno Album
Final Cut is Anthony Srock and Jeff Mills’ Detroit industrial techno project from the late 1980s. According to The Wire, it marked “a significant moment in the convergence of the classic industrial aesthetic and the emerging sound of Detroit techno.” Mills exited the duo after its debut album, Deep Into The Cut, was released in 1989, to be replaced by Joseph LaFata. That LP has now been made available for the first time ever in double vinyl form, and it’s being issued on Paul Purgas’ (of Emptyset) We Can Elude Control label. Stream the whole album and make sure to check out Jeff Mills’ latest Cinemix project—which Electronic Beats is presenting live in Berlin—here.
