Their work is essential in raising visibility in African and Afrodiasporic issues including queer identity and the Black Lives Matter movement. The Fader’s Adam Harper recently posted a large piece on this subject, and it’s an important and fascinating read in both its message and examination of some of the most inventive sound artists today.
