Unsound Kraków Has Announced Its 2017 Festival Theme: Flowers
The festival’s Polish edition had replaced dark dystopian themes with something floral.
This year’s edition of Unsound Festival in Kraków will be themed around the concept of “flower power.” This is a significant change from previous themes, which have included “horror,” “future shock” and “interference.” Mat Schulz, one of the people behind the event, said in a statement on the festival’s website that the theme is, “in part a nod to the 50th anniversary of 1967 and the Summer of Love—a period rich with aspiration and riddled with contradictions—as well as dark, chaotic cross-currents of that era that now seem to crash over us again.” Sounds pretty timely to us! The line-up has not been announced, but you can keep up to date and read the statement in full here. Check out the very floral festival flyer below.
