The eerie Netflix hit’s theme gets a sweet cover via a bunch of hardware synthesizers.

Netflix’s recent hit “Stranger Things” is one of our favorite shows of 2016. It’s a pitch-perfect combination of X-Files meets Eerie, Indiana with a sweet coating of ’80s nostalgia. The soundtrack, composed by Austin’s S U R V I V E, is equally as lovely. It’s exactly what we’d expect from a group we’ve loved since we started grabbing their cassettes in 2010. Their soundtrack to the show is dropping “soon,” and while we’ve yet to see them drop the “Stranger Things” theme live, the above cover by NYC’s Wandertalk, is definitely worth your watching time.
