Berlin-based subcultural reconceptualization blogger, writer and DJ Daniel Dodecahedron, aka BlackBlackGold was recently offered the chance to soundtrack Element 7‘s showcase at the Lady Gaga and Lady Starlight afterparty in Vancouver.

The rising young company designs beautiful body chains, and they captured the attention of the megastar—who swiftly selected some pieces of her own. For the soundtrack, company founder Jennifer Li requested “something haunting, but with a beat.” With this in mind, Dodecahedron put together a selection of edits that include Lana Del Ray, This Mortal Coil, Strange VIP, Current 93, Blvck Ceiling, Lauren Bousfield, Litanic Mask and Bruxa, all woven throughout with his own edits of the music of Italian composer Carlo Gesualdo.
