Gang Gang Dance make Eye Contact with new LP

All we know right now are some very vague facts about the new album from Gang Gang Dance, but we do know that a new album is definitely on its way.

The LP is called Eye Contact and it will be coming through premier indie label 4AD. Previously they had released their album Saint Dymphna on Warp, but then after three years of silence they have resurfaced with a new LP that will see the light of day in May.

We are so glad that Gang Gang Dance are finally getting the attention they deserve, knocking about for almost a decade in obscurity.Their second LP God’s Money in 2005 on one of the best labels in the US, Social Registry, the LP still resonates with GGD fans today.

GGD will make several festival appearances as well over summer, the Dazed & Confused Festival Live in London on April 9, the Animal Collective-curated edition of ATP in Minehead, England on May 13-15, and the Primavera Sound Festival in Barcelona on May 26-28.

Gang Gang Dance are set to release ‘Eye Contact’ through 4AD on May 9th.
