Hamburg, you better get ready: not long to go until this year’s edition of Reeperbahn Festival – the Hanseatic way of clubbing. Taking place in several venues around Hamburg’s infamous Reeperbahn, you’ll see over 200 up-and-coming bands and djs from all over the world – it’s like a German approach to the SXSW festival programme.

The special thing about Reeperbahn Festival (September 22-24) is that you might run into music where you wouldn’t expect it necessarily: a dj set on a cutter? Check! A band playing atop of an old WWII bunker? Check! Rap performances in an old school bus? Check!
