Grimes debuting artwork in NYC with benefit for Aboriginal women
Grimes is just so perpetually appealing. We still haven’t tired of frequent repeats of Visions, a fact that’s definitely starting to annoy our flatmates, girlfriends, and people on the subway dealing with the associated dance spasms. Now there’s a whole new reason to focus on Claire Boucher: aaaaaaart. The singer is debuting her work at New York City’s Audio Visual Arts Gallery from March 23rd through the 25th. Not only that, but that Saturday night will also host a silent auction, with all proceeds going to Sisters In Spirit, an organizations which raises awareness of violences against Aboriginal women in Canada. If you want to see some new work from one of the best avant-pop artists around today and support a good cause, this should definitely going to be on your to-do list.
