Hype Williams’ Dean Blunt releases solo cassette

Berlin-via-UK sound-scrapers Hype Williams get an unusual amount of attention for a couple of weirdos releasing washed-out soundscapes full of dub gurgles, grunts and barely-there vocals. Maybe there’s just something irresistible about their don’t-give-a-fuck attitude, their sounds filtered down through a haze of weed smoke. Whatever the case, bongbeast frontman Dean Blunt is joining his compatriot Inga Copeland in dropping a new solo cassette tape.
