Karin Dreijer Andersson has ‘No Face’
Karin Dreijer Andersson, which you know from The Knife and Fever Ray just unveiled a classy, drone-ish and minimalist track with opera-like vocals on top. It’s called ‘No Face” and sounds a bit like her soundtrack for ‘Tomorrow, in a Year’, which was released last year as a collaborative work with Planningtorock and Mt. Sims. Anyway, the lovely track, originally written for the Ingmar Bergman play ‘The Wolf Hour’,will be featured on the ‘We Are The Works In Progress’ compilation. The comp is a 14-song benefit album to support post-tsunami Japan, compiled and organized by Blonde Redhead and available digitally on January 10th, with the double LP available to pre-order on their website.
