New Prefuse 73 Mixtape feat. Zola Jesus

With only a couple of weeks to go before the release of his new album The Only She Chapters, Prefuse 73 aka Guillermo Scott Herren, has released a mixtape featuring one of the album’s many collaborators – Zola Jesus.

Prefuse 73 + Zola Jesus Mix Pt.1: The Misanthrope Meditation is 40 minute extravaganza that takes in music from a dizzying array of left field artists including Bruce Haak, Tim Hecker and Edward Williams who is best known as the composer of the music for David Attenborough’s groundbreaking TV nature series Life on Earth.

Apparently this is the first of a series of mixtapes that will precede the album which is released on April 25th via Warp.
