Orbital and Zola Jesus release collaboration
A few years ago, a Zola Jesus/Orbital collab would have been a real ‘what the christ’ moment, but her rise from nugoth idol to club diva has really taken off. Maybe you remember us talking this up a while back; we even posted the leaked link on our Facebook because hey, it owns and we want to share it with you. “Wait, hold up…you talking about an old track like it’s new??’ That’s wight, wabbit, because guess what: this is the official, 100% straight-up track for official release. Unlike that last one, this one won’t vanish into the night and make us gnash our teeth and stamp our feet like babies who also know how to operate computers (smart babies? Baby geniuses?)
It’s intriguing to see how far Zola J has taken her sound, but somehow we miss the days of her sludgy, lo-fi sewergoth. Still, this is seriously going to tear dancefloors up. Stream the original track below, along with some remixes by The Hydraulic Dogs and L-Vis 1990.
