Portishead get noisy with new mixtape

Things have been rather quiet from the Portishead camp since they rewon their critcal acclaim with their 2008 album Third. That changed today when they dropped a new mixtape in honor of I’ll Be Your Mirror, the ATP event they’re curating. The mixtape contains a diverse collection of legendary artists like Swans and PJ Harvey, as well as younger torch-bearers like Foot Village, Liars and Factory Floor. It is, frankly, sick as hell, and we’ve been jamming it hardcore here. If you can’t make it to London July 23rd-24th, at least you can enjoy great tunes from a great band.
