Shackleton is always a welcome guest – CANCELLED
We just got informed that Shackleton had to cancel his gig due to an illness in his family. We wish him and his family all the best.
This is the official statement:
We have to inform you, with great sorrow in hearts, that the planned live-act from Shackleton for Friday the 20th of Jan is cancelled due to an illness in the family. We are truely sorry as we, as no doubt you also, were really looking forward to this night. We will be bringing him to Vienna this year for sure so keep your ears/eyes open. [:(] and wish him and his family all the best.
As ersatz for all of us we have got the one and only Franjazzco formerly known as (Franz ‘Jazzin’ Otto) on the decks spinning us some bass heavy Juke and we hope, dispite the disappointment, that you all manage to find your way to our evening as the local DJs also rock the house. Entrance is 6 euro instead of 10.
Before the guys from Luv Shack Records formed their own label, they earned their spurs organizing great parties. You can get proof of that this Friday, when they host another one of their well-known The Usual Suspects nights at Fluc with special guest Sam Shackleton.
They have invited their own personal Keyser Söze (and maybe Jesus) for the third time and there is not the slightest sign of boredom in our reaction. Actually it’s the opposite. Sam Shackleton is one of these very special 21st century artists who no longer care about genres. Like many others he started in dubstep when forming the label Skull Disco in 2005 but has since moved on.
Special support will come from Mike Polarny, a great DJ who we’ve already introduced at the Electronic Beats Festival in Warsaw a few months ago, where he played a warm-up set for Wiley. Of course the Usual Suspects residents Slack Hippy and Simon Lebon will be there too.
