Conditions of Participation for Sweepstakes

Organizer of the Sweepstakes

The organizer of the sweepstakes is Deutsche Telekom AG (hereinafter referred to as “Telekom”).

Duration of the Sweepstakes

The sweepstakes takes place from 03.06. – 24.08.2024. The organizer reserves the right to modify, terminate, or extend the draw. Participation requires the use of the chatbot in accordance with the terms of use.

Eligibility to Participate

Eligible to participate are exclusively users of the chatbot who are natural persons, 18 years of age at the time of the sweepstakes, and have their permanent residence in Germany, Austria, Hungary, Czech Republic, Poland, Croatia, Slovakia, North Macadonia, Montenegro or Romania,

By participating in the sweepstakes, the participant accepts these terms and conditions.

Participation Action

Once the chatbot has identified a message from a WhatsApp group member as an excuse, a ticket draw or another communication by the chatbot will occur randomly as a response. To have a message identified as an excuse, the chatbot must be activated by another group member from passive reading to active intervention by addressing the chatbot using the response function and requesting it to check the message (for example, “@noexcusesbot, is that an excuse?”). If tickets are then drawn, the participant of the draw will be the WhatsApp group member whose message in the WhatsApp group was identified by the chatbot as an “excuse”.

Procedure of the Sweepstakes and Determination of the Winner

The draw takes place immediately after the chatbot identifies an excuse. The prizes are drawn at random among all participants. If the quota (see prize details) is exhausted, an appropriate notice will be given upon request to the chatbot. The draw is subject to the same – in particular technical – restrictions and conditions as the use of the chatbot.

Notification Timing and Method of Notifying the Winner

The winners will be notified immediately following the draw and will receive a message from the chatbot in the group chat (“winning notification”).

The winning notification will contain a voucher code, with which the tickets can be ordered from Ticketmaster within the deadline specified in the winning notification.

Prize Details and Prize Redemption

Telekom is raffling tickets for the following events:

The organizer of the events is not Telekom, but Live Nation GmbH, Mörikestraße 14, 60320 Frankfurt am Main. Accordingly, Telekom assumes no liability for the conduct and holding of the events.

Each winner will receive a voucher for two tickets for the respective event.

The prize includes only the admission price for the respective event. Other costs, especially travel and accommodation costs, are to be borne by the winner and are not part of the prize. The general terms and conditions of the respective event organizer apply and can be viewed at: https://www.livenation.de/ticketterms.

The code is valid only within the specified deadline and exclusively for the event drawn at random, and cannot be redeemed for other services from Ticketmaster.

The winner can access a link to the Ticketmaster website via a link in the winning notification on the Electronic Beats homepage of Telekom, where the code can be redeemed. On the Ticketmaster website, the individual voucher code is entered, and the desired number of tickets is selected, with the voucher code entitling the winner to a maximum of two tickets free of charge. All tickets are standing room category.

To complete the ticket order*, the winner creates a Ticketmaster account with their email address and a password or logs in with their existing Ticketmaster account. Then, the full name of each ticket user and the address are entered, and it’s done*!

The voucher code for ordering the won tickets is valid for at least 24 hours. The exact duration of the ticket validity will be communicated to the winner in the winning notification. If it is not redeemed within this time, the prize will expire, and the tickets will be redrawn among all participants.

*For the ticket order, the terms and conditions and privacy policy of Ticketmaster apply.

Cash payment or exchange of the prize for cash or other items is excluded.

The tickets are not transferable to third parties. Reselling the tickets, as well as offering them for sale, is strictly prohibited.

Extraordinary right of termination

There is no entitlement to participate. The organizer of the competition is entitled to immediately exclude participants from the competition for important reasons. This is particularly the case in the event of a violation of these participation conditions, especially in the case of completed or attempted manipulation of the competitions, or attempted disruption or influence of the proper course of the game.

Legal recourse is excluded.

Data protection information

Telekom will process personal data of chat conversation to which chatbot was invited for the purpose of providing free tickets as described in point 7 above.  The legal basis for processing is Art 6 I b) GDPR. Applicable law and legal recourse

The draw is subject to the law of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Legal recourse is excluded.
