Listen To The 113-Track Compilation Supporting Poland's LGBTQIA+ Community
‘Total Solidarity’ features tracks by artists like object blue (pictured), Olivia, Lee Gamble and more.
The Oramics collective and the Dutch label New York Haunted (run by Drvg Cvltvre) are joining forces for a 113-track compilation entitled Total Solidarity, whose proceeds will directly benefit Poland’s LGBTQIA+ charities.
The release comes in the wake of an outburst of violence that occurred at a Pride event in Poland last month, which was fueled by an increasing amount of anti-gay propaganda promoted by the country’s ruling Law and Justice party. The party leader, Jaroslaw Kaczynski, has even gone so far as calling the country’s queer community as a “threat to Polish identity.”

Several artists from the United States and Poland—including Borusiade, Varg, Rui Ho, object blue, Electric Indigo, Violet and many more—have contributed tracks to the compilation to raise awareness for the country’s threatened LGBTQIA+ community. All of the funds will go towards the organizations Kampania Przeciw Homofobii and Miłość Nie Wyklucza, who will redistribute the funds to smaller charities throughout Poland.
