This 16-Year-Old Makes Better Synthesizers Than You
Mack Bartsch is a DJ and music producer from Houston who also builds her own synths.
How many synthesizers have you built? How many had you built by the time you turned 16? Introducing Mack Bartsch, a 16-year-old who builds synthesizers. She was at this year’s Moogfest building a Drummer From Another Mother module. The module is an exclusive, kit-only unit that is only available to attendees of the event. This video from PBS News Hour features Bartsch wielding a soldering iron and sharing her thoughts on synth building alongside performers Suzanne Cianni and Omar Souleyman at the annual celebration of all things Moog. You can watch the video here.
