Is this the most soothing video of the week? Watch artist Graham Dunning turn a turntable into a kind of drum machine by mechanically altering vinyl records and stacking all sorts of stuff on the record player. The experiment was conducted at Lime Wharf Machines Room as part of the Rhythm & Drone // Research & Development residency in September 2015.
The video evokes that strange school class vibe, awkward silence and a few ASMR moments included. For the full effect, play at 2x speed on YouTube.
