Atari's Wearable Bluetooth Speaker Is Straight Out Of Blade Runner
And they want you to be the first to test them out.
Want to fill your head with high quality audio while still keeping up your sharp street wear appearance? Well now you can with Atari’s seriously strange Speakerhat.
Fresh from announcing the Ataribox, their first console in over 25 years, the legendary gaming company has announced the production of wearable high-fidelity Bluetooth stereo speakers. The hats are being developed to help promote the hotly anticipated sci-fi film reboot, Blade Runner 2049. Designed in collaboration with company Audiowear, the speakers will be housed in a slick baseball hat bearing Atari’s iconic logo.
The hatphones also include a microphone and a cool added feature whereby multiple caps can play the same track simultaneously. That means you and your crew can pound the concrete in sync to your favorite new jam.
Sound like your kind of thing? Atari is looking for a group of 10 people to beta test the Speakerhat before its release with the film in October. To sign up head here. You can find out more about the Speakerhat on Atari’s website.
