Berlin Clubs Raise 40,000 Euros For Refugees
The Berlin initiative Plus1 asks clubgoers who are on the guestlist for a event to donate one euro for refugees at the door. More than 80 clubs and promoters all over the city have supported the campaign since it cropped up in October 2015, and 40,000 euros have been raised so far. We hope to see similar actions in more cities around the world—developers, invest your energy here instead of creating blackmarkets for guestlist spots.
