There are few better music scenes in which to cut your teeth as a producer and DJ than Berlin. Cinthie grew up in the city’s vibrant electronic music culture, and it’s left a lasting effect on various aspects of her music practice. As an all-vinyl DJ, radio show host and the mastermind behind five different labels, Cinthie traffics in the independent sounds of the underground. Her sweeping DJ sets—capturing everything from elated house cuts to bent basement tunes—have also made her very much in demand.
As part of Telekom Electronic Beats TV’s One To Watch series, we caught up with Cinthie to explore the various sides of her life in independent music. After following her from the club, to the radio and finally to her own mind-boggling studio, we discovered why she’s one to keep on your radar.
