That’s what makes this thing so adorably haunting—watching a human hand coax the melodies of Haddaway’s “What is Love” from this customized device, it’s as though the very mechanics of it are crying out for an explanation. Or perhaps we’ve just been watching too much Blade Runner. Either way, this is a lovely version of the 1992 club hit and a sweet inspiration for other DIY sound crafters.
