Five rare LFO tracks appeared on the YouTube channel “LFO – Gez Varley & Mark Bell – Lost & Found Demos etc” some time ago. They’ve been sitting there more or less untouched — until now. Here’s your chance to listen to these rare deep cuts: embedded above is Track 4 (Alt.Version) , a track that appeared first on the B-Side of the “LFO (Warehouse)” but in an entirely different version.
“Love is The Message” here in the “Frequencies” Sessions version. This is especially exciting, because it features different synth sounds, drums and spatial parts.
A true piece of English techno history, “We Are Back” in a version that was specifically reworked for Warp Records Party Nite at the Sheffield Leadmill.
It’s not really sure if this track was made for a gig at Sheffield Leadmill or Huddersfield, but it does kick ass regardless.
WICKED. Again, not sure for what the track “Heliopolis” was created for, but we’ll keep it on heavy rotation nevertheless.
For more Warp Records history check out an Aphex Twin Peel Session from 1992.
