Hear An Atmospheric New Pop Hit Produced By Daft Punk’s Guy-Manuel
Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo has been lending his production chops to avant-pop songwriter Charlotte Gainsbourg.
News on the Daft Punk tour front may have started to stagnate, but that doesn’t mean that the French duo has hardly just been putting their feet up. They recently produced a new single for Australian band Parcels, while their collaborations with The Weeknd have kept enough disco-inflected pop passing through our speakers.
Now, one half of the disco outfit, Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo, has found himself back in the studio with Charlotte Gainsbourg. “Rest” sees the Daft Punk figure team up with the British/French singer and actor to produce a classy slice of introspective but highly infectious pop music. You can hear the track below.
