Check out this metallic club remix premiere and party opportunity.
Air Max ’97 has been lighting up and flipping dance floors in equal fashion over the last few years. In 2015, he released the banging Core Work / Expenditure 12″ on his own DECISIONS imprint, which is now being followed by the HPE EP—an EP full of focused percussion excursions and crunching beat workouts. Now we’re premiering the first remix from the EP, Ziur’s rework of “Swelter“. Ziur takes the psychedelic and tunneling properties of the original, and ramps up the aggression and the jaggedness for maximum dancefloor impact. Punishing, textured and rhythmically sprawled, look out for it on a dance floor near you…
…Which could be this Friday! We’re giving away tickets for you and a friend to BOO HOO at Ballhaus Berlin. It features Air Max ’97, South African NON affiliate Angel Ho, mobilegirl, @LILINTERNET, Ziur herself and Joey Hansom. All you gotta do is comment beneath this post. See you in the fog…
Sink in to Angel Ho’s Berlin Biennale mix here (plus a killer second from Why Be) and check out Born In Flamez’s remix of Ziur here—and if you can’t catch Air Max ’97 in Berlin, be sure to catch him on tour. The dates are below.
