Tearist were one of the rawest groups to be loosely associated with witch house back in the day; however, they swiftly rose above the genre tag with their visceral synthpunk jams and confrontational live shows, which would usually find vocalist Yasmine Kittles writhing on the floor and bashing pieces of metal.
Now the Los Angeles duo have returned with a revamped, popped-up version of their 2010 rager “Headless”. The noir-tinged video treatment finds Kittles stalking the night before entering a basement club—only to find another version of herself exploding live onstage. What confrontations occur thereafter you’ll have to discover for yourself—we promise, it’s violent.
Be sure to catch them on their European tour; we can’t wait for the Berlin gig!
