Introducing Dresden's New Club, Objekt Klein a
The space boasts an outdoor area and three floors with “very distinct settings.”
Dresden is a bit of a cult destination when it comes to leftfield dance music. It’s the home to a creative musical galaxy that includes the DJs and producers associated with Uncanny Valley and its Rat Life sublabel. The city has its fair share of clubs, but it seems a very special venue is opening in Objekt Klein a, a three room nightclub that had its soft opening just a few weeks ago.
The first big event there will be XXY_: Exposition on Saturday, May 6. The lineup includes BOBBIE* (who was recently profiled by us here) and Electronic Beats contributor Albrecht Wasserleben. With a main room focused on industrial beats, a garden area and a small bar with lots of natural light, we’re starting to think we need to book a train ticket to Dresden ASAP.
