As Twin Peaks mania gathers ever-more steam, we welcome a new piece of hazed-out dream pop into our world with David Lynch and Chrysta Bell’s new song “Beat The Beat”. The track comes via the Texas producer’s October-slated EP Somewhere in the Nowhere, and is one of several exciting collaborations which also include Sunn O)))’s Stephen O’Malley and Adrian Utley of Portishead. It’s a lovely prelude to her full-length due out next year—the same year we’ll get to experience her in the heavily anticipated Twin Peaks revival. Damn fine, indeed.
