A new iOS app called FieldScaper is promising to turn your iPhone into “advanced field recorder combined with sound-warp engine.” Developed by iMusicAlbum, the app aims to simplify field recording and enable the creation of “spectacular soundscapes.” Several different recording functions allow users to capture environmental sound, which can then be processed and distorted through the scraper sound engine.
